What motivates ME?
I dream big. And those dreams are sweet, moving, sometimes sad, a bit forbidden, often naughty and always ending happily. When the bills are paid and the kids are fed, I write those dreams down. My mind is full of stories, jumbled emotions and steamy scenes.
As an avid reader myself, I know how a good book can affect us. It’s especially good when it leaves your toes tingling, your heart racing and your lips smiling.
All I want is to make you happy, the same way my fantasies make me happy.
Who inspires me?
I have grown up in the ultimate patchwork-family, so I’ve seen my fair share of romantic relationships begin AND end. In comparison, I have found my life-match in my husband, with whom I want to grow old with and spend the rest of my life. Of course, true life relationships differ from those in books. Rarely we get to read the stuff that happens behind the scenes or what happens after the happy end. But because of him, I’ve grown as a person. And for me, that’s what matters the most. We help each other become the best versions of ourselves and this is why he plays a big role in my inspiration.
My favorite authors
When it comes to books, I’m a simple girl. Give me a story about a girl and a boy, and I’m happy. I’m a fan of the classics: Susan Elizabeth Phillips, Nora Roberts, Rachel Gibson, Sandra Brown. Pamela Clare and her I-Team series are superb. Cara McKenna always sets the mood for something darker and Cindy Gerard is a master of her own. Sophie Kinsella is great in being funny!
Outside the romance genre, there are few books that I count my favorite. The catcher in the rye is definitely one of them. Harry Potter will forever remain in my personal hall of fame and Lord of the Rings is very fine.
